Kundapur, July 23: Demanding justice and protection to women and students against the sexual harassments occurring in the state, students at Koteshwara suspended their class and organised a huge protest on Tuesday, July 22.
Students from Kalavara Varadaraja M. Shetty Govt. College and members of ABVP organised the protest. The protest saw the participation of many students from the Taluk.
A huge protest rally was taken up from Koteshwara-Haladi Road to Kopteshwara Bypass. The protesters demanded a severe action against the culprits and rapists. The students also directed the Govt. to take immediate action on the issues and provide safety to women and students.
ABVP leaders Nayan Poojari Koteshwara, Praveen Shetty, Collage president Ganesh M. Poojari, Ashwat kumar Shetty, Chetan Kumar, Akshaya and others were present on the occasion.
