Mangalore, April 15: BJP district president Pratap Simha Nayak said that BJP has not inducted Prajaprabhutva Vedike President Mahesh Shetty Timarody into the party, but the meeting between them was just a part of the party’s campaign.
Addressing the press meet held at BJP election office on April 14, Monday, he said that it is true that Timarody had met Nalin and RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat and also rendered support to Nalin in the upcoming election, but has not officially inducted him into the party.
While questioning about Timarody, who had criticized the BJP for not supporting Sowjanya rape and murder case, Nayak said that BJP has helped for the fight in all the possible way. It was BJP government who had entrusted the Sowjanya case to the CoD.
Former minister Krishna Palemar said that Congress has failed to complete various developmental projects including BC Road –Suratkal four-laning even to the present day.
