Moodbidri, Mar 22: Billava Sangha from Moodbidri has demanded the suspension of Moodbidri Tahasildar Mohammad Issak and Padukonaje Village accountant Usha from their posts. This demand was a result of the incident where a poor woman was made to dislocate from her house. The house was legal and had a door number too.

Concerning the above issue, there was a press meet held at the press club in Moodbidri. Speaking to media, Billava Sangha President Puvappa Kundar stated, “this is a cruel act, no notice was issued to the women from concerned department. Many officials are involved in this act. There should be a proper legal action taken within 7 days, if Govt. fails in doing so, then, there would be a major protest in Udupi and D.K. districts.”

Rukkayya Poojarti, Ravi Poojari, Deepak Kotian, Rajesh Suvarna etc were present at the meet.
