Mangalore, Mar 17: Senior Congress leader and DK Congress MP Candidate B. Janardhan Poojary said that the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of MCC must work to see that people’s welfare schemes implemented by Central and state government will reach the actual beneficiaries.
He was speaking after felicitating the newly elected Mayor Mahabala Marla and Deputy Mayor Kavitha Hoigebazaar of Mangalore City Corporation organized by Mangalore South Block Congress Committee.
Block Congress president J Nagendra Kumar presided over the event. KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, District Committee member Prabhakar Shriyan, A. Suresh Shetty, Bharati B, Narayan Kotian and others were present.
