‘Court on Wheels’ to visit Mangalore Railway Station

Mangalore, Feb 28: The Railway Special Judicial Magistrate court through ‘Court on Wheels’ will be visiting Kozhikode to Mangalore.

The mobile court will deal with petty cases from Kozhikode to Mangalore railway stations.

Justice B.M. Assu heard around 75 cases including unauthorised vending, ticketless travel, and causing nuisance in the train, in the first day as the court functioned in a portion of a first class coach in the Chennai-Mangalore Express on Feb 26, Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel attached to the Kozhikode, Palakkad, Mangalore, and Kannur units took part in the initiative.
