Kundapur: No question of closing down Government schools at any cost; minister Kimmane

Kundapur; Jan 05: Addressing the press reporters in the congress party workers meet held in Kundapur block congress office on Jan 04, Saturday,Kimmane Ratnakar,Karnataka government education minister said in his address that programme of offering course in English medium has already been implemented from first standard onwards  from coming academic year. As a part of that programme, the process of appointment of 10,000 teachers is in progress and will be finalized by the end of coming June end.

Further he said that our government is committed to oppose, any move from any quarter to close down government schools and we are deadly against that move. Our government is thinking of saving at least one school in a village. That is why, all the precautionary measures are being taking place from right now to distribute free books, cycles and other instruments in the coming academic year, he said.

Motto of congress government in the state led by Siddaramaih is to deliver corruption free, transparent governance. The 3600 crore rupees project of Annabhagya,which is without any bias of caste, religion and creed, is the project meant  exclusively for those who are holding BPL ration card, to cool down the hunger of poor people. An additional burden of Rs 1700 crore cheques, issued by the previous government has to be taken by the present government.
