Udupi: Karnataka Govt must recognize and support the art of Conjuration-says magician Samarth

Udupi; Sept 11: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held on Sept 11, Wednesday at Pathrika Bhavan, Samarth Shenoy, international fame Limca registered magician said in his address that in America art of conjuration is being used for the enhancement of children’s intelligence quotient (IQ).But in India this particular art of magic lacks support, encouragement as compared to other arts. In places like Kerala magic has been recognized as an art and being encouraged. But in Karnataka this reorganization has not been given. The government must think about the income-expenditure incurring for magicians, he said.


It has been decided to organize a “Shykshanika Jadoo” show of one and half hours (educational magic show), a new innovative project on Sept 12, Thursday at 3.30 pm at S R S School. This show not only give entertainment to the children but also helps to enhance their IQ.This show also aim to  create an awareness  about special understanding of magic amongst parents, children and teachers.


Amrith Shenoy, businessman has inaugurated the programme.It has been decided to organize a magic shows in schools for students across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district in the coming days. Fee for the one and half hours show has also been fixed, he said.
