Karkala: Patron Udupi K Ramesh Shetty extends monetary help to cancer patients

Karkala; Sept 11: Don’t say that there is no God. He is there in different forms and He is omnipresent. His power is immaculate and unbelievable. He is always there, those who want to seek his helping hand and blessings. But when, why, in what form? Don’t ask!!!!


Here is one such incident, where K Ramesh Shetty from Udupi has come in the form of human being as a savior to many deserving patients. It might not be a big help but it is a boon for hopeless disease ridden people.


K Ramesh Shetty, a patron and generous donor has extended financial help in cash to two families of Mutlupady surroundings in Varanga village of Karkala taluk, who have been suffering from deadly cancer disease on humanitarian ground.


Responding to Social worker and working president of Udupi taluk Jay Karnataka Sanghatane Mutlupady Satish Shetty’s special request, in view of extending monetary help to the poor patients, patron Ramesh Shetty, himself visited the houses of patients on Sept 10, Tuesday and distributed around Rupees thirty five thousand in cash.


Ramesh Shetty has handed over Rs 25 thousand  in cash to Gulabi Shetty, mother of Nishita Shetty, aged 20,a resident of Mutlupady,who has been undergoing treatment for cancer, lost her both the eyes and leading a miserable dark life. Similarly, he has also given Rupees ten thousand in cash to Sujatha, wife of Mutlupady Sundara Naik, who too has been suffering from cancer.

It is worth mentioning Ramesh Shetty’s name on the occasion because he  has been extending his helping hand to many hapless people and built 10 houses at the cost of 3 lac rupees and distributed to homeless poor people.
