Corporation Bank handed over the relief fund one crore rupees to Uttarakhand C.M

Mangalore, August 22: For relief and rehabilitation of the people of Uttarakhand state, which has been recently hit by torrential rains followed by cloudbursts, landslides and flash floods, the Corporation Bank has donated rupees one crore to the Chief Ministers’ relief fund – Uttarakhand.
B K Srivastav, Executive Director of the Bank at Dehradun handed over the donation cheque of rupees one crore to Vijay Bahuguna, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand recently.
 As a part of fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibilities and as a responsible corporate citizen, the Bank has initiated several welfare measures aiming at the underprivileged section of the society in fulfillment of its commitment to social priorities. As the bounden duty to extend support for the relief and rescue operations as well as for mitigating the sufferings of the affected fellow countrymen, Corporation Bank has risen to the occasion and has donated to the Chief Ministers’ Relief Fund towards the cause of the affected in Uttarakhand.
Harak Singh Rawat, Cabinet Minister, Uttarakhand, Dr. Kurian P Abraham, Deputy General Manager and Suraj Prakash Bakhshi, Asst. General Manager and  Zonal Head, Meerut Zone of the Bank were present.
