Mangalore, August 19: ‘Swamy Vivekananda had faith in youth power; hence still he is an inspiration to them’ said Mangalore university registrar B.S Yadapadithhaya.
He was speaking after inaugurating the lecture on Vivekananda, organised by Swamy Vivekananda’s 150th birthday celebration committee at SDM Business Management College on Sunday, he said that every religion having good values, but following method is different and he said that there is need to follow the Vivekananda’s ideal, who introduced the universal brotherhood.
Vinaya Sahasra Buddi, Director of Ram Rao Malagi Prabhodini, Mumbai and M.S. Chaithra, Director of Aarohi gave lecture on the occasion and legislative council member Capt. Ganesh Karnik was the chief guest.
Committee region convener Soorath Kumar, Capt. Brijesh Chowta, convener Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty and Dr. Vineetha were present.
