Kundapur, December 5: DK Shivakumar, Energy Minister of Karnataka visited Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple, performed Chandika homa and offered special poojas to the goddess.

Speaking to the media reporters later, he said, it has been decided to take appropriate measures to address the electricity problem in the state and after December 15th, attention will be paid on it. Under the “Hosa Belaku project” LED bulbs distribution project has been launched to minimize the utilization of electricity and it would be officially distributed this month, he informed.

Temple management committee president Krishnaprasad Adyantaya honoured the minister on this occasion.

Byndoor block congress president Ramesh Ganiga, Taluk Panchayat member Raju Poojary, Kollur Gram Panchayat president Vishwanath Adiga and others were present.
