Mangaluru, December 1: Miscreants pelted stone at the Idga mosque located near Porkody arch in Bajpe. The incident came to light on Tuesday morning.
It is said, the religious preacher at the mosque arrived to the mosque to offer the usual namaz, first conveyed the message to the police. The front window glass has been damaged incurring a huge loss. As the news spread, the public’s began gathering at the spot.
The Bajpe police circle inspector Nagraj, ACP and other police officials visited the spot and inspected.
A complaint has been filed in Bajpe police station.

A delegation from the popular front of India Bajpe unit has visited the Idga mosque. Mohammed Riyaz, chief Secretary, popular front of India Bajpe unit has demanded to arrest the culprits immediately.
