Kasargod, October 30: A house was completely charred in fire today morning. The incident took place at Uliatadka near Madhoor.
The house belongs to Iqubal resident of Rahmat Nagar in Uliatadka.
It is said the house hold had been away when the incident took place. Two LPG cylinders that was inside the house got burst due to the fire. All the household items including clothes, documents, furniture’s, electronic goods were charred in fire.
On hearing sound of the explosion, although the locals immediately alerted the fire personnel’s, but by the time they arrived at the spot, the house was completely burnt in fire.
As Iqubal’s wife was ill they had been to hospital in Kasargod and hence none was at home during the time of incident.
It is suspected that short circuit might have caused the fire.
The losses are estimated to be more than 12 lakhs.
