Mangaluru, October 23: Burglars on the night of Thursday broke into a shop dealing in mobile phones located at Kankanady here and stole mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees. on Friday October 23rd morning, this burglary came to light.
The shop named ‘Ruby mobiles get connected’, situated near Neelgiris supermarket in Kankanady was burgled. It is estimated that, the thieves have stolen about 60 new cell phones. The loss is yet to be estimated.
The shop owner Zulfikar said, as usual at the end of the day on Thursday he locked the shop and returned home. When he came to the shop on Friday morning, he saw that the lock on shutter of the shop was broken. Immediately he complained to the police.
Kadri police have registered a case and investigations are underway.
