Mangaluru, July 24: Much Awaited “Kanasu Kannu Teredaga” was inaugurated at Suchitra Theatre in the city on Friday, July 24th. The movie is released across the state.
District Working Journalists’ Association President Jagannath Shetty Bala, formally inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp, and wished for the success of the film. Owner of Jyothi Theatre Mangalore, Mr Ravi was the guest.
Movie Producer Balakrishna Shetty welcomed the guests. Speaking on this occasion, he said cleanliness is one among the challenges faced in India. The differenced in the present society and the naughtiness of the childhood days have been transformed as the story of the movie.
An old professor chased away from the village, who had tried and failed to correct the mistakes of people will bring the children to the right way. Meanwhile, when people will not be available for waste management works, a rich contractor of the place will make the children from the slum areas to drop their school, and will push them for garbage collecting work. Amidst all these, the way the friendship, innocence of children, will give a happy end to the story and cleanliness which is one of the serious problems faced by the modern society, the revolution made by the children for the garbage management, is shown in a unique manner in the movie, he said.
Balakrishna Shetty has requested all to watch this movie. “One must watch this wonderful movie. The movie is produced, directed and acted by the team comprising of Mangaloreans”, he said.
Co-producer of the movie Kiran Kumar Puttur said, all must watch this movie and support the artists of coastal area.
Co-director Nagesh Puttur, Razak Puttur who has scripted the literature and dialogues, child artists Maitri Yekkur, Mahalasa, Arpith and others were present.
Released in forty theatres across the state:
The movie “Kanasu” is be released in forty theatres across the state including Suchitra and Multiplex theatres in Mangaluru. The Reliance Entertainment which has already appreciated the quality and message of the movie is the distributor of the movie.
The 2.15 hours movie directed by Santosh Shetty Kateel has come up as a fully entertainer children’s movie. About 12 child artists have acted in this movie and all the artists have faced the camera for the first time. The five songs of this movie has already received appreciation and the shooting was done using Cannon 5D and 6D cameras.
