Mangaluru, June 25: Serial theft has taken place on the night of Wednesday, June 24th in Vulachil, near Merlapadavu, outskirts of Mangaluru and the thieves have fled with hot cash.
The thieves who broke open the lock of a saloon have stolen gold ring, earring, ATM card and cash Rs 5,000.
They have also broken into a close by fair price shop and have stolen cigarette box worth Rs 5,000 along with cash Rs 2,000.
Kerala restaurant in the vicinity was also burgled and cash Rs 50,000 was stolen from there.
The kankanady rural police have inspected the spot and investigations are underway.
