Mangaluru, June 8: Bike borne duo men have fled with money bag from a pedestrian. This incident took place on the night of Saturday, June 6th, near Umamaheshwari temple at Kapikad falling under Ullal police station jurisdiction.
Chandrashekar, a resident near Umamaheshwari temple in Kapikad owns a shop in Bunder here.
Daily after closing his shop, he used to carry his days cash in a bag while returning home. As usual, even on Saturday night after closing the shop, he alighted from the bus to go home. Meanwhile, a bike was following the bus, it is said.
While walking, duo who approached Chandrashekar from behind on a bike threatened him and snatched away his hand bag. The hand bag contained his business amount of Rs one lakh, Voters ID, Pancard and other documents, states the complaint.
It is suspected that some known persons might have done this.
Chandrashekar has filed a complaint at the Ullal police station.
