Mangalore/ June 4: The documents verification for eligible central entrance test (CET) – 2013 candidates will kick start at CET helpline centre inSahyadri College of Engineering and Management from June 5. This is one among the 13 helplinecentres in the state.
The documents verification will conclude on June 23 and every day the verification process will start at 8.30am.
Jagjeevandas Bhandary P, chief nodal officer of the helpline centre told reporters on Tuesday that after the verification of documents, candidates will be given an acknowledgement, a username and password. Students can login to the Karnataka examination authority (KEA) website for online options entry, where candidates can select the seats for various courses in different colleges, he added.
The dummy allotment of seats list will be announced on June 27. Jagjeevandas said the government has not yet announced the online counseling date.
Candidates have to compulsorily bring two passport size photos, admission ticket of CET examination, study certificate, income certificate, SSLC and II year pre-university marks card, he said, adding that “Candidates have to bring two sets of photocopies of all these documents.”
During the document verification process candidates will be given a CD, which contains information about online seat selection and fees payment procedure, said Jagjeevandas. There will be seven counters with two staffs in each counters this helpline centre to verify the documents, he added.
“Candidates who have filled incorrect castes in the application forms while applying for CET examination can change it during documents verification process,” he said.
