Mangaluru, December 10: An incident of attempt to murder a youth at Krishnapura in Suratkal has taken place on late evening on December 9th.
The youth identified as Taslim Arif (23), resident of Krishnapura was attacked with machetes by miscreants who arrived in a bike. Due to the attack, the left arm of the youth has been detached, it is said. Post the attack, the miscreants fled the venue.
Taslim who earns his daily bread by working as a labourer was on his way back home around 8pm when this attack took place.
On Monday night, a person named Vinay was stabbed at Suratkal. Along with this, within a span of two days four incidents of stabbing has been reported.
