Mangalore September 11: The JOURNEY THEATRE group Mangalore, in collaboration with the Kannada Sangha and Dramatics Association of St. ALOYSIUS COLLEGE (Autonomous), is organizing a one-day National Level Theatrics workshop on September 13th, Saturday, at the college auditorium from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The national level training camp will be inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Swebert D’Silva SJ, Principal of St. Aloysius College. At the inaugural ceremony, Theatre Art Director Mohan Chandra U, will be invited as the chief guest. An experimental, 60 minutes solo play ‘Urmila’, will be enacted by Vidushi Manjula Subramanian. The play is penned by H. S. Venkatesh Murthy and directed by Viddu Uchchil.
Under the guidance and instructions of Suresh Balila and VidduUchchil (Camp Directors), various aspects of dramas will be demonstrated and explained by the artists from the ‘Journey Theatre’.
