Mangalore, September 11: The current years various committees of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council are reconstructed and the member of Legislative Council Ivon D’Souza has been elected for the committees. Ivon D’souza has been appointed as the member of the housing board which is under the hands of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and the president of library board- Kagodu Thimmappa and the Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council.
In the library committee, the board chairman of Legislative Council D.H. Shankaramurthy, leader of opposition party Jagadish Shetter and others are present.
The first meeting of the committee was held on September 9th at Vidhan Soudha. At the meeting, it was decided to organise an information camp about the library. Meeting of both committees will take place every week in Vidhana Soudha.
