Mangalore, September 11: The assistant director of the Tourism Department and the computer operator in the office have been raided by the Lokayakutha on Thursday evening for the charges of demanding bribes to grant the facilities under the Employment Scheme.
It is gathered that, the assistant director of the Tourism Department Jithendranath and the computer operator Anushka were trapped in the raid. They were raided and taken into custody by the Lokayuktha Sub-Inspector Dayananda Varnekar and other officials, when the accused were taking bribe of Rs10,000 from Bernad Maschrenhas.
