Mangalore, August 16: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) – Dakshina Kannada District members, celebrated the 68th Independence Day at Balikashrama, Kankanady Mangalore.
On this occasion Chief Guest Judith Mascarenhas, Ex-Deputy Mayor hoisted the flag at 8.00AM. He addressed the gathering and spoke about the role of young generation in development of the country.
The program was lead by Congress Sevadal District chief Organizer, H.M.Ashraf.
On this occasion, Corporator Asha D’silva, NSUI District president Ashith G. Pereira, General Secretary Milhaz Attavar, Secretary Irshad N.G, Ankith Kumar, Deril D’Souza, Rizwan, Eshan, Pratap Alva, Denver Anchan, Glen, Welvin, students and staff of Balikashram were present.
