Kaup, July 22: Two persons wanted in connection with various two-wheeler theft cases have been arrested by Kaup police. In the meantime, one more accused managed to escape.
Those arrested are Mohammad Nisar of Pajir and Ishan Ahmed of Kotekar in Someshwar and the absconding accused is Rifaz.
The police have seized three bikes which the trio reportedly stole from various places in Mangalore. Lethal weapons found in their possession were also seized.
It is learnt the accused were also wanted in connection with the attempt to burgle a post office at Pangala and the theft of a Scooty in Udyavara.
Cases were registered against them even in Konaje, Mangalore and Honnavar police stations, it is learnt.
