Bantwala: The invitation of Dakshina Kannada District’s 19th ‘Zilla Kannada Saahitya Sammelana’ was launched by B. Ramanath Rai at Polali Shri Rajarajeshwari temple. The convention will be held at Polali Shri Rajarajeshwari temple ground from August 2 to August 3.
Speaking on the occasion, Rai said that the convention would provide motivation to young poets, develop Kannada literature and also felicitation to achievers in the field of Kannada literature.
Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, A. Manjayya Shetty, Tharanath Alwa, Shankar Shetty, Venkatesh Navada, Kantappa shetty, Subbaraya Karant and others were present on the occasion.
