Kasargod, July 10: Bundles of currency notes hidden in plastic cover was found by students outside the school compound of the A.M.U.P. School at Kasargod on July 8, Tuesday. The students were playing when they suddenly found four bundles of currencies which were kept between sand bags.
The currencies in denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 500 and Rs 100 were immediately taken to the Headmaster K Mohammad Harris, who later informed the police.
The cash found was valued at Rs.1.22 lakh. It is not yet known as to who hid the cash in the place belong to. Investigations are on.
