Corporation Bank Opens New Branch at Okhla Phase-I in New Delhi

Mangalore : Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director of Corporation Bank inaugurated its new branch at Okhla Phase-I in New Delhi, today. 

The Bank has 143 branches and 254 ATMs covering the National Capital Region including Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida. Across the country the Bank has a network of over 8981 functional units including 2055 branches, 2584 ATMs and 4342 branchless banking units. The Bank has crossed a major milestone by surpassing total business of Rs.3.30 lakh crore and entered the league of big Banks.

The new branch at Okhla Phase-I is named as Corp Excel branch under Project Sankalp – the Business Process Re-engineering Project of the Bank. The interiors of the branch have been designed aesthetically and the layout is demarcated between customer facing and operations work. The layout of the branch also includes a convenient and simplified Queue Management System and sufficient customer waiting area.

The branch has e-lobby provided with self-service automation kiosks like cash deposit machine, cheque deposit machine, self-service passbook printers etc. The e-lobby has been specially designed for customers for quick service with ease and convenience. The branches will have a specially designated staff – Corp Mitra who will help and guide the customers at the Branch.

Project Sankalp is the Business Process Re-engineering and Organizational transformation journey started by the Bank. Through this project the Bank aims to build a digitally enabled, customer centric operating model which will help the Bank to embark on an accelerated growth path for realizing its vision of emerging as a leading and most admired public sector bank in the country.
