Mangalore, May 31, 2014: MLAs Sunil Kumar and CT Ravi who have been defending the killing of Kabeer by ANF personnel Naveen Naik at Shringeri, are unfit to be MLAs and they should be arrested, alleged KL Ashok, State Secretary of the Karnataka Komu Sauharda Vedike.
He was speaking at a protest organised by the Vedike and other organisations in front of the DC office on May 30, Friday.
Ashok further alleged that “Kabeer was killed in a deliberate act which was a joint operation between the ANF and the Sangh Parivar. The cow dung attack on our leader has not deterred us and we will continue our fight against fascism,” Ashok added.
Mohammed Kunhi, state Joint Secretary of Jamaath-e-Islami, Fr William Martis from Udupi, Shafi Bellare, President of Puttur unit of PFI, Ali Hasan, President of Mutton Traders Association and others spoke on the occasion.
A rally was taken out from Ambedkar Circle to DC office on this occasion.
