Kundapur, May 31: The historic temple of Dhakshina Kannada, Shri Mookambika Temple at Kollur has received a huge amount in the form of offerings. The figure stands at 1,07,11,439 in the form of cash, 550 gram gold and 2 kg silver is the total collection.
Due to summer vacations, the number of devotees visiting the temple had increased in May. “The amount received is a record in the history of the temple,” said Administrator of the temple, Krishnaprasad Adyanthaya and Secretary L.S. Maruthi in a press meet.
