Two separate road accidents take lives of two persons

Mangalore, May 24: Two young lives were lost in two separate horrifying road accident in the city on Friday.

Nithin Achar (27) riding a two wheeler was killed when the bike which he was riding lost control near Assaigoli. He is employed as a technician with Blue Star AC.

When the accident occurred, he was on the way to Infosys campus to attend a fault. Sources said that he tried to avoid a dog and lost control over his two-wheeler and fell causing grievous injury and was dead on the spot.

In another mishap at Arla near Nellyadi on NH 48 – Mangalore to Bangalore, a lorry driver was killed when two Lorries collided head on.

The deceased has been identified as Vijayakumar Jain (27), a resident of Keruvase in Karkala. The impact of collision was severe it is mentioned. Speed and negligence are the main causes of road accidents.

In recent days a lot of accidents are taking place, Govt. officials and traffic police should come up with some immediate measures to avoid and rectify this.
