Kundapur, May 16: In order to celebrate the victory of BJP Udupi- Chickmagalur candidate Shobha Karandlaje against Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde with the majority of 1.42 lakh, the BJP workers celebrated triumphant.
The activist’s performed ‘Abhisheka’ in milk, to the huge cut out of Modi erected at Shastri circle. Later they burst the crackers and carried out a procession, shouting the slogans for BJP’s victory.
The celebration was also held in Koteshwara, Kodi, Vinayaka, Basruru Murukai, Thekatte Kumbhashi.
