Mangalore, May 13: “Along with social service activities, yoth associations should also work towards development of culture among children. Our way of life should be made known to the current generation,” said Mayor Mahabala Maarla.
He was speaking at the 9th Annual Celebration of Prajwal Yuvaka Mandala (R) at Sootarpete. He later distributed books to the children. The books were distributed to more than 500 children.
The programme was presided over by Vardhamana Durga Prasad Shetty. Kishore Amin Shetty, Shri S. Jagadeeshwar Anchan, Shri Meril Rego, Shri A. Parameshwar and others were present on the stage.
Shri K.K. Pejawar welcomed the gat5hered, Rohit Ullal hosted the programme.
