Mangalore, May 11: In a recent development, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted permission to Air Asia for starting the operations. The operations of flights between Mangalore and other cities of South India are expected to be the outcome of this development.
Generally people travelling from Mangalore to Chennai opt for a flight to Bangalore and from there to Chennai due to the absence of a direct flight between the two cities. But now the travelers have a reason to be happy. If Air Asia introduces its operations on the route, then it will be a great boon to frequent travelers.
