Mangalore, Apr 5: The district Bharatiya Janatha Party released its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections at BJP Election office on April 5, Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik said that the party has highlighted the proposed developmental projects of the party for the region in the manifesto.
Karnik also said that with the best interests of the district, people and especially women, BJP has drafted the manifesto, which was not done by the UPA rule in the nation during the past ten years.
He also said that BJP manifesto assured to provide solution to CRZ related problems and stringent actions against crime against women. The party will work on providing more jobs to youths and will introduce more train services from the region.
Apart from it, the manifesto promises for a permanent solution to the problem of sea erosion, establish full-fledged pass port office in Mangalore, 24 hour electricity to farmers and set up an international stadium in city.
BJP leaders former MLA Yogish Bhat, former mayor Rajani Dugganna, Kumble Sunder Rao, Jayaram Shetty, Sudhir Ghate and others were present.
