Traffic to be diverted during Rahul Gandhi’s visit to city: Police Commissioner R Hithendra

Mangalore, April 4: Mangalore City Police Commissioner R Hithendra said that, as a part of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s visit in the city on April 4, there will be traffic diversion.


Speaking at the press meet held at commissioner’s office on April 3, Thursday, he said that until Rahul Gandhi leaves the place, the vehicle parking will be banned at Circuit House.


He also said that the vehicle parking within a radius of 500 meter from the venue is also prohibited. While the vehicles possessing pre-approved VIP passes will be allowed to park at Taluk Panchayat premises and surrounding areas. But the police vehicles, VIP vehicles and emergency service vehicles are let out from the rule.
