Mangalore, April 2: State Minister for Forest and Ecology and DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai rubbished the allegation imposed by BJP leaders of sleeping in the Assembly.
Speaking at the press meet held at Congress election campaign on April 1, Tuesday, Rai said that after the lunch, I just close my eyes for few moments and it doesn’t mean that I am sleeping. I have been actively participating in assembly sessions, he said.
Criticizing BJP ministers in return, Rai said that he neither slept nor indulged himself in watched blue films in the assembly like BJP ministers and MLAs.
He also challenged Nalin Kumar Kateel to give evidences of the developmental projects undertaken by him in the district and claimed that in spite of not being in power Janardhana Poojary’s contribution to the district is much more.
