Mangalore, Mar 31: The post-centenary golden jubilee celebration of Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa was inaugurated at Church Ground on March 30, Sunday.
Renowned preacher Fr Anil Dev, Director of Matr Dham Ashram Varanasi led the retreat of the first programme of Jubilee celebration.
Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza blessed the foundation stone for the new belfry of the church.
Bishop also unveiled the calendar and logo of the post-centenary golden jubilee year.
Parish Priest Fr Victor D’Mello, Fr Benjamin Lobo, Fr Jeevan Sequeira and others were present.
