BJP accepts Rai challenge, shows videos of Nalin Kumar raising question at parliament

Mangalore, Mar 30: The District BJP countered Ramanath Rai’s allegation imposed on MP Nalin Kumar Kateel’s silence in the parliament and provided video clipping of Nalin Kumar raising questions in the Lok Sabha as the evidence.

Speaking at the press meet held at District BJP Election office on March 30,Sunday, District BJP President Pratap Simha Nayak released the video clippings of Nalin Kumar and said that State Forest Minister’s statement was misleading the people district and challenged to resign from politics if he finds evidence of MP’s participation in parliament.


He also said that Nalin Kumar had spent his MP fund for many developmental project and also challenged Rai to provide the details of Congress candidate Janardhana Poojary and the expenditure of his MP fund during his tenure.

Nayak said that Nalin Kumar has 74 percent attendance in parliament and has raised 24 starred questions which were replied orally and had also raised problems of the district.

After the press meet, Pratap Simha Nayak played a video CD of Nalin Kumar Kateel raising questions in the parliament dated on March 23, 2011, August 29, 2011, March 20, 2012 and February 27, 2013.

MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, Ravishanker Mijar and others were present.
