Mangalore: A petition was sent to HM of Karnataka requesting an investigation by a special team regarding the case in which a dead body of Rohit Radhakrishnan (22) was found at the road side of Tannir Bhavi Road, on 23rd March 2014.
M.S. Radhakrishnan has a sent a letter of request to Sri. K.J. George, Honorable Home Minisiter of Karnataka, asking for a special team investigation on the death case of his son Rohit Radhakrishnan. The family of the deceased strongly suspect that it was a murdered and the accident scene was fabricated to cover up gruesome murder.
The family of the deceased has made a special request to media to keep the news posted and not let the case fade away. They are of the opinion that, “being election time this kind of news will fade away, it should not be written off as an ordinary accident case because there are many unanswered questions which need investigation. This should not be the fate for many other students coming to Mangalore for studies.”
Rohit was the only son of Adv. M.S Radhakrishnan and Dr. Sreedvi Radhakrishnan. Initially the enquiries started as possible murder and later declared as an accident. The police charged the case with IPC 297 and 304 (A) against the deceased.
