Mangalore/Udipi, April 21: It has been reported that rivalry between the political parties resulted in damaging the car belonging to Bharat Kumar a staunch supporter of Halady Srinivas Shetty and a Taluk Panchayat member.
Incident took place on April 20, Saturday at Kota, near Udipi .Halady Srinivas Shetty–former Kundapur BJP MLA and has decided to contest as an independent candidate in the ensuing assembly election,which will be held on May 5, Sunday.
It was believed that incident was not an accidental but an intentional act by some miscreants because of political rivalry, it said.
Some miscreants hurled stones at Bharat Kumar’s car, damaging the front shield of the car
A complaint has been lodged by Bharat Kumar in Kota Police station alleging that some miscreants stoned his car and damaging front shield of the car, an act of political rivalry.
