Mangalore, Mar 23, 2014: An unidentified man was found murdered at Tannirbavi on March 23, Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit from Kerala. He was pursuing MBBS studies in a college in the city.
The murder has been so heinous that the head was found separated from the rest of the body.
DCP (crime) Vishnuvardhan, police commissioner R Hitendra, Panambur circle inspector and other police officials arrived at the spot.
Police have also found a blue Pulsar bike of Kerala registration nearby. Investigations are underway and more details are awaited.
