Student debarred for copying in second PUC examination

MANGALORE: A student was debarred for copying in the II PUC computer science examination at St Ann’s PU College examination centre here on Saturday. With this, three students have been debarred so far for examination malpractice in the ongoing second PUC examinations in Dakshina Kannada. In the earlier instances, a student each were debarred after vigilance squads caught them copying in business studies and sociology examinations.

In the history examinations held during the day, 14612 out of 14916 students registered wrote the examination and rest 416 were absent. In the computer science examinations, 5647 out of 5675 registered students appeared and remaining 28 were absent. In Udupi, 7,905 out of 8,082 students wrote the history examination and 177 were absent and in computer science, 2667 out of 2676 students registered appeared for the examination.

On Monday, examinations will be conducted in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Arabic from 9am to 12.15pm in the morning session and in French from 2pm to 5.15pm in the afternoon session.
