Mangalore, Mar 22: To mark International Forest Day, the students of Department of Mass Communication, St Aloysius College enacted a street play on the theme ‘Drastic consequences of the Netravathi river diversion project’ at college campus on March 21, Friday.
The play highlighted the ill effects of water scarcity, threat to bio-diversity, ecological imbalance that will be faced by the people of Dakshina Kannada by implementing the project.
Students shouted the slogan ‘Save Netravathi Save Life’ on the occasion.
