Kundapur, Mar 20: The driver of a goods lorry lost his life after getting crushed under the wheels of his own vehicle when the lorry overturned following a tyre burst. The tragic accident took place at Ottinene near Byndoor on March 19, Wednesday.
Dinesh, the deceased driver is of Gujarat origin. It is learnt that the cleaner somehow escaped from the accident.
The plywood loaded lorry was on its way to Mumbai from kerala when its tyre burst near Ottinene. It is said that the driver tryed to jump out of the vehicle when it lost control, but unfortunately he fell under his own vehicle.
Byndoor police station has registered the case.
