Udupi; March 17: Recently 52nd free anti-foot-mouth fever vaccination programme was organized jointly by agricultural science centre, Brahmavar and animal husbandry department in Herur village’s Heranje jurisdiction.
Nivasa.H.Hulakoti, subject matter expert, agricultural science centre (animal science) has inaugurated the camp. After inaugurating, he spoke about the purpose of the camp, severity of the disease and effects of it.
Mahesh Shetty, head of the vaccination team, assistant directors, veternity hospital, Brahmavar were present on the occasion and said that complete disease can be eliminated by vaccinating the cattles every six months.
Free vaccination was given to village’s cattle by vaccination team. Complete villagers of Heranje by being present, co-operated in the vaccination programme.
