When everybody works together, any type of great achievement can be accomplished effortlessly. Customers are the properties, assets of co-operative bank and with their co-operation, bank can move towards further development and eventually bank can deliver better service to the bonafide customers of the bank. In this regard, it is happy to know that customers of Nagur area have joined their hands with bank by coming themselves voluntarily forward to open an account in the bank, he said.
He further said that co-operative banks are in the forefront in terms of public service and in giving better service to the customers, it is not lagging behind or less than any of the commercial banks. It is not suitable in the banking sector to treat differently the man who deposit the money and the man who borrows the loan. We have to treat them equally. As the money transaction is required for the strong growth of financial institutions, only due to loan borrowers and banks by serving better, it is possible for the growth of the institutions, he opined
He also said that co-operative bank’s directors, staffs and through the efforts of Navodaya women’s unions and participation, the work of launching new branches is taking place on weekly basis. SCDCC is the bank, which has put its hands in the experiment of going by vehicle to give loan and creating awareness about bank’s dealings through showing pictures. And proved that banking dealings can be done even through vehicles. Even NABARD has liked the service of the bank and lauded that this has become a role model for the country.
Continuing his speech he said that growth of the society is possible through women. Credit of giving financial strength to women’s society goes to co-operative banks. In order to receive facilties, which are due to women, their unity is important. In this regard the need of organizations inevitable. By adopting the principle of ‘Navu Beleyabeku, Innobbarannu Belesabeku’ (along with our growth, we have to ensure other’s growth as well), it is everybody’s responsibility to make economically backward rural women financially capable by making them the member of the unions, he said.
