Mangalore, Mar 15: A youth had lost his life, when his two wheeler was crushed by a speeding jeep near Nandigudda on March 14, Friday around 11:45 am.
The deceased has been identified as Hakeem, a resident of Melangady in Ullal, who was supposed to fly back to Saudi Arabia next week.
According to the police, Hakeem had lost control over his motorbike, when the moving bus all of a sudden applied brakes and was thrown on the road. At the same time a speeding jeep moving on the same direction crushed him under the wheels.
A case has been registered at Mangalore East Police station.
