Udupi; Mar 08: In order to prevent irregularities in the excise department before the start of Loka Sabha election-2014, excise department has created rapid teams-one team at district level and five special teams in Vidhana Sabha constituencies. By assigning duties of respective officers and staff, the following rapid teams were created for conducting the immediate inquiries.
The responsibilities of curbing and controlling the manufacture of counterfeit alcohol, illegal storage, transportation, distribution and sale of this etc has been entrusted to these rapid teams for the early disposal of the cases. If anybody among the public come to know about the irregularities in the excise activities, can pass the information to the following excise authorities.
