Mangalore, Mar 8: Kamala Goenka Foundation will honour Hemavathi V Heggade (Dharmasthala) with the prestigious ‘Dakshin Dhwajadhari Samman’ for her contributions in the field of social service.
While the ‘Goenka Kannada Sahitya Sammana’ will be conferred on Prof. Malati Pattanashetty and ‘Goenka Hindi Sahitya Sammana’ will be given to R R Nidagundi.
S.S.Goenka, Managing Trustee of Kamla Goenka Foundation announced that Dr. Kashinath Ambalge of Gulbarga will be awarded with the cash prize of Rs.21,000, for the best translated book from Hindi to Kannada titled ‘Sumitranandan Pant avara Kavitegalu’
