Miscreants attack N B Abubaker’s brothers for supporting Modi’s Bharatha Gellisi rally

Mangalore, Mar 6: Few miscreants assaulted brother of former chairman of Karnataka State Minorities Development Corporation, N B Abubaker at Angaragundi in Bykampady on March 4, Tuesday for gathering supporters for the Bharatha Gellisi rally organized recently.

As per the complaint lodged at Panambur police station, Usman was walking towards the house of Abubakker from his house, when Iliyas and Ibrahim, who came in a two-wheeler, knocked him down. As Usman fell on the road the duo attacked him with hands. In turn Iliyas, who too got admitted into a hospital, stated in a complaint that Usman attacked him for no reason.

A total of 12 persons have been named in four separate complaints and counter complaints filed in this connection.

Later in separate incident, a gang of seven entered a shop run by Rafique in Angaraagundi dragged him out of the shop and attacked him in with hockey sticks, bats, and hands seriously injuring him on head. He was later admitted into a private hospital. In this case too, a counter complaint was lodged against Rafique.
